Nothing better to do on a Saturday Night I took the LRT to Central Market to check out the Mooncake Festival 09 organised by the Ministry of Tourism. Plenty of freebies including lanterns, candles, matches, drinks and one mini mooncake.
Read in the Star that the crowd was some 20,000. Erh... my estimate 3000 max. The procession was quite muted cos the people carrying lanterns were mainly foreigners and non Chinese. The route through part of Jalan Sultan and Jalan Petaling was quite fun though but is nowhere compared to the Chingay Procession in Penang.
